Early NFL Easy to Beat

"GETTING THE BEST OF IT"
Handicapping Tips From Legendary High Roller TONY SALINAS!

MORE BIG PLAYS ON TAP AFTER MY 7-0 PRO START

You hear some handicappers say that early season pro football is tough to beat. They'd rather wait until everyone's played four or five games so they can get a read on everyone. The computer guys in particular insist on having a few games in the database before they get involved.

Look, I was beating Las Vegas in football before personal computers were even invented. I know a bad line when I see it. And, I see a lot of them in the opening weeks of the NFL season!

I made that clear last week with my 7-0 board sweep in the NFL on Sunday and Monday. I plan on making the same points today and tomorrow with my top releases.

Why is the NFL easy to beat early?

*The lines are based on what everyone remembers from last season...and pro football teams can change a lot from one year to the next. The draft. Trades. Free agent acquisitions. Or, the simply the matter of injured teams getting healthy, or previously healthy teams suffering preseason injuries.

*NFL teams CARE early in the season. Nobody's thrown in the towel yet. Nobody's given up on their quarterback or tuned out their head coach. I'm always talking about motivation when you're handicapping games. Much of what bettors remember from last year concerns how bad teams were playing when they didn't care any more. Everybody cares in September. The underdogs I won with last week sure played like they cared, didn't they?

*Offenses are rusty in the first few weeks of the season because it takes that long to get up to speed. That's an even bigger deal now that everyone rests their starters in the fourth week of Preseason. How many big name quarterbacks did you see struggling with their timing last week? A lot. Who does the public like to bet on? Big name quarterbacks! The top teams have trouble playing to lofty expectations when they're still out of synch. There's much more of a level playing field at first than people realize.

*I should also mention that TOTALS are easy to beat early too if you have a good read on who was in synch or wasn't in the Preseason dress rehearsals. We obviously hit all of our totals last week. Did you realize that 12 of the 16 games in Week One missed the Vegas spread by more than a touchdown? And, 10 of the 16 games missed by double digits. Does anyone want to make the case that you should be passing Over/Under bets when the oddsmakers are THIS far away from reality?

You tell me. Is this the right time to sit back and pass everything because you're afraid you might lose? NO! You attack soft numbers that will have little semblance to reality in many of the games. This is a dream situation for smart handicappers...particularly ones that don't need a computer or a stat sheet to tell them how to pick winners!

My HIGH ROLLER selections are always available online a few hours before kickoff. Make a few clicks and have your credit card handy. It's the next best thing to standing in line with me at a Vegas sportsbook. Seasonal packages are also available. If you're old school and prefer doing business over the phone, call the office at 1-888-536-8880. You won't talk to me directly because I'm at the sportsbooks all weekend. One of my representatives will be able to help get you set up.

We're going to have another big week in the NFL. Make sure you're GETTING THE BEST OF IT with TONY SALINAS!
