50-Unit National League Wins Tonight...Underdog Angels Took Down Money Last Night For AL

By Kelso Sturgeon

The defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors (72-9) tonight have the opportunity to put their names in the record book as the team that turned in the best regular-season won-lost record in league history. They are as close to a lock to do just that as any sports team in history as they look to finish 73-9 and replace the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls who set the mark at 72-10 during the 1995-96 season.

How much of a lead-pipe win to beat the injury-riddled Memphis Grizzlies (42-39)?

Golden State opened as a -16-point favorite in Las Vegas and a -17.5 offshore and is now the 18.5-point choice with a total 212.5. The game begins at 10:30 Eastern Time and will televised nationally from the Oracle Arena in Oakland. But the betting line is just part of the story.

If one buys into the fact Golden State cannot lose this game, one can bet the money line on this one, laying $10,000 to win $1, a figure I personally do not recall ever seeing and keep in mind I have lived 365 days a year for more than four decades in the world where bookmakers give away nothing.

On the other hand, if you believe it means something that when these two teams met in Memphis five days ago Golden State had to put on a furious rally to win 100-99 as a 13-point favorite, you can bet the money line on the Grizzlies and get $2,500 for each $1.

Memphis comes into this game with a 16-24 road record but is just 1-9 in its last 10 away games, dating back to March 9, since the injury bug took over. Golden State is 38-2 at home and is 9-1 in its last 10 games and 4-6 against the spread in those outings.

Needless to say I will watch this game but certainly will not bet it, believing laying that $10,000 to win $1 is a bit beyond my required risk vs. reward ratio.

Meantime, my betting interest will be on a 100-unit NBA play and my 50-unit National League Game of the Week.

This Is The Final Night Of The NBA Regular Season And A Host Of Teams Are Still Playing For An Edge In The Playoffs And One Is Primed For 100-Unit Win

The final night of the NBA regular season is here and it finds several teams involved in games they want/need to win to stay in the playoff race, get into the playoffs or improve where they will be seeded. For instance the Houston Rockets and Utah Jazz are still fighting for a playoff spot.

One of the games on tonight's schedule stands out as a play for bettors and I am releasing it as a 100-unit play to help bettors build their bankrolls for the playoffs that begin Saturday. This team has ever single edge and will still be going full bore tonight.

You can win this game for just $50 or GET IT FREE by signing up to my NBA Playoff Package for just $199. The playoffs run for almost two months and that makes this package the bargain of the season.

American League Game Of The Week Won Last Night As Underdog Angels Beat Athletics 5-4 As 50-Unit Play And Tonight Belongs To National League

My Personal Best Baseball Investment Club for highrollers got the cash last night with m winning American League Game of the Week as the underdog Los Angeles Angels (+105) won at the Oakland Athletics, 5-4, and tonight it is the National League's turn with my 50-unit National League Game of the Week and I am as confident as ever I will get the money

There are seven  AL games scheduled tonight - all very competitive contests - but only one of them grades out with a 95% chance to win and you can get this game for just $20, charged to your major credit card.

To qualify as a Personal Best release, a team must grade out on top in all 10 elements I use to analyze games and must have a dominating pitcher who is in peak form...and he must be backed up by a powerful bullpen loaded with pitchers who shut teams down 1-2-3. All these ingredients are there, so let's go for it.

The success of this club for highrollers has its foundation in the risk vs. reward element and the risk must be 1 and the reward at a 9. That ratio is so powerful it almost guarantees one can make a fortune during the baseball season.

The fortune is there waiting for you and you can win it for just $699 and play right through the final game of the World Series. These games are also available on a Monthly Trial basis for just $300.

Two Most Impressive Horses I've Seen And Neither Is Named Nyquist

It takes a lot to impress me when it comes to Thoroughbreds but I got the double whammy this past weekend with two, neither of them named Nyquist, the undefeated 7-0 favorite to win the Kentucky Derby.

First up is last season's 2-Year Old Filly of the Year, the undefeated 7-0 Songbird, Watching her win the $400,375 Santa Anita Oaks in a common gallop was simply another amazing performance. Forget she was 1-10, she went the 1 1/8 miles in the slop with jockey Mike Smith simply sitting on her. Never once did he rouse. It was a rocking chair ride and will make her 1-10 to win the Kentucky Oaks the day before the Derby at Churchill Downs.

Only great horses win with the ease this $400,000 Kentucky-bred Saratoga Sales purchase. She will head into the Oaks May 6 with a bankroll of $1,982,000 and you can bet few will show up to oppose her. Her trainer Jerry Hollendorfer and her owners (Fox Hill Farms) are far too wise to give into pressure to run her in the Derby.

A 1st Starter That Just Missed Track Record

Then comes the 3-year-old filly Enola Gray, the offspring of a California stallion with a $2,500 stud fee, who broke her maiden in her first start, at Santa Anita, by 16.5 lengths. She is not the first maiden to win so easily but that has nothing to do with what I saw.

Pay attention.

Bred and owned by Nicholas B. Alexander, trained by Phillip D'Amato, and ridden by Tyler Baze, Enola Gray took the lead a few strides out of the gate in the 6.5-furlong event and never looked back. Her fractions said she just might be a superstar and, like Songbird, won in a common gallop.

Get The Fractions:

1st Quarter: 21.71 seconds.
The Half: 44.0 seconds.
At 6 Furlongs: 1:07.59.
At the finish: 1:13.71.

The Bottom Line:

  1. This was a well-hidden 1st-time starter who paid $10.40 as second choice in the betting.
  2. The time over a fast track was just 3 ticks off the track record.
  3. She merely galloped around the course, with Baze just along for the ride. He never cocked his stick nor ask her to run.
  4. If she had ever been asked she would have smashed the track record.
  5. She is by the stallion Benchmark, a decent horse that has produced 29 stakes winners, including two California champions. He stands at Alexander's Tommy Town Farms for a $2,500 fee, a price certainly to be raised.

It will be a long time before you get 4-1 again on this horse.
