Wayne Root: Keys to My 5-0 NBA Run

As we go to press, I'm on a 5-0 run in the NBA playoffs. I'd like to explain to you how that happened.

First, I'm not going to talk about specific teams or players. Obviously, I'm winning with teams and players who will still be playing this weekend, and in the Western Conference championships! I owe it to may paying clients to protect the lines for all the big plays that are still coming up. What I'm going to talk about today are weaknesses in the market.

We're just not seeing many adjustments in the numbers from game to game, even when it's clear and obvious that those adjustments should be made. Dallas was clearly better than the Lakers in terms of their head-to-head matchup once the teams were on the floor doing battle. Dallas should have been more than a very small favorite at home. They certainly shouldn't have been any more than a small underdog on the road. The lines never captured the reality of that series. As you may have read or heard elsewhere, Dallas has either covered or pushed every game so far.

I may or may not be backing Dallas in the next round. The talent matchup will be different. The intangibles in play will be different. I'm very confident already though that oddsmakers will react slowly to the Western Conference finals as they develop. I'll be ready to exploit that edge. Oddsmaker stubbornness may be the single biggest factor helping handicappers and bettors in the NBA Playoffs over the last five years. Time and time again the guys behind the line lock in to their pre-series perceptions and NEVER fix the mistakes.

If you've been watching the telecasts this year, particularly of the post-game press conferences, you have hopefully noticed that the mainstream media focuses on emotions and character rather than what really wins or loses basketball games. They ask about courage...or resilience...or immaturity. Since the people asking those questions are the people writing newspaper stories or providing TV and radio reports, you can deduce that the overall atmosphere has been out to lunch.

How many sportswriters could make a living in Las Vegas betting sports? ZERO! How many sportswriters could become championship handicappers with documented success? ZERO! I've earned my title as THE KING OF LAS VEGAS because I have more documented winners than everyone else. And, THAT'S because I know that really determines winners and losers when teams are playing for championships.

The general public bets based on what they hear on TV. And, I've learned over the years that oddsmakers are unduly influenced as well. Thanks guys! Keep watching those telecasts and reading those newspapers!

I can honestly say I'm doing many of the same things now that I was doing in the NBA playoffs 10 years ago, or 20 years ago in terms of strategies and methodology. Sure, the names of the players have changed. The game is much more physical than it used to be (though playoff basketball has always been more physical than regular season basketball). Winning right now is a combination of what you've learned from the past, and what you know about the current teams.

Frankly, one of the biggest reasons I'm more successful at this than YOU is that I've been doing it a lot longer. Maybe you're a young WAYNE ALLYN ROOT destined to be a big success in the field. I'm already the #1 success in the field!

My recent 5-0 run is the result of knowing what works, knowing the players, knowing the coaches, knowing NOT to listen to the media, and knowing that oddsmakers are VERY slow to react to reality as it unfolds in the NBA Playoffs. Oh, we're still in just the second round. THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

You can sign up for my top NBA and MLB plays right here at the website. Game day releases go up a few hours before the action begins (that's EARLY when there's weekday baseball). I will definitely have PERFECT PLAY caliber releases going up in both sports the next few days. If you have any questions about my programs or combination packages, call my office at 1-877-766-8946.

I'm ON FIRE in the baskets, and my edges will only get bigger the further we get into the NBA postseason. That means it's time for YOU to go to W.A.R alongside WAYNE ALLYN ROOT!
