It’s Packers-’Skins on Sunday Night Football
NFL WEEK 11 –,HERE’S THE PACKERS-‘SKINS ,SUNDAY NIGHT PREVIEW, PLUS SOME POINTSPREAD DITTIES
Have you taken a good, long look at the up-to-date NFL standings?
Maybe you noticed that there are six teams that enter play here in Week 11 with winning percentages of .700 or better (see New England, Kansas City, Oakland, Denver, Dallas and Seattle) and all of the above are rather prohibitive betting favorites on this Sunday card, save for the Broncos who happen to have their bye week.
Still, do not at all be shocked if somehow outside this “big six” revs up its engines in this final month-plus of action … will it indeed be the New York Giants or perhaps the at-the-current-time swooning Pittsburgh Steelers?
Ahh, it’s all part of the drama that’s gonna unfold between now and New Year’s Day when the 2016 regular season comes to a close … let’s all enjoy the journey!
And now hear this …

NFL WEEK 11
On Sunday Night, it’s …
GREEN BAY (4-5) at WASHINGTON (5-3-1) – 8:30 p.m. ET, NBC
There’s lots to digest here beginning with the fact the here-and-now Green Bay Packers are swooning with three straight losses (and four defeats in their last five games) while host Washington is in a revenge mode after getting wiped from the playoffs last year courtesy of GB’s 35-18 triumph in Landover.
If the 3-point underdog Packers are gonna repeat history and win on this field again, then QB Aaron Rodgers (2,410 yards passing with 24 TDs and 7 INTs) must get his troops emotionally charged up – even Rodgers has been complaining of a lack of energy from the Pack – and he must get ‘em out of the starting gate quickly.
On the flip side, the ‘Skins -- who have a win, a draw and a bye since late October – have sights set on picking apart this suddenly slumping Packers’ defense that’s allowed 47, 31 and 33 points in their last three outings. Can Washington slinger Kirk Cousins (2,716 yards passing with 14 TDs and 7 INTs) rattle the Pack cage here?
Spread Notes – Washington has covered six of its last seven games this year and the ‘Skins are a collective 4-2 ATS (against the spread) when playing outside the NFC East while Green Bay’s banged out four-of-five covers as underdog sides since the start of last year and that includes this season’s pointspread “W” at Atlanta as 3-point dogs back in Week 8.
Here’s some NFL Week 11 pointspread ditties …
Arizona has failed to cover nine of its last dozen games dating back to late last year …
Buffalo is 17-12 versus the vig at home since late 2013 …
Detroit is an ugly 2-6 ATS in its last eight games versus AFC competition …
Kansas City is 10-5-1 vig-wise as betting favorites since the middle of last year …
Pittsburgh is 6-1 ATS in its last seven games versus Cleveland …
And Tennessee is 3-6-1 ATS in its last 10 trips to Indianapolis.
